Nonlinear Revision Control for Images

Hi,

I would like to know if there are any considerations to rewriting the tool for usability in upstream GIMP.

I found an article related this on the following link:

http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entry/what-hasnt-happened-to-gimp-2.8

And a demo video here:

Regards.

Joseph,

I'm not sure what you mean with "rewriting for usability". Revision control was implemented there by porting GIMP to an entirely different graph system. It needs porting to GEGL in the first place.

Usability is an entirely different concern.

Thank you for the information.

And sorry for the offlist mail, it was unintentional.

Regards.

No progress that I know of. The team behind that revision control project was interested, but they wouldn't start before the switch of GIMP to GEGL is complete.

P.S. You do know you mailed me offlist, right? :)

Hi Alexandre,

Thank you for your response.

Has there been any progress or plan to porting to GEGL?

Thanks.
