How about a shared TODO list ?
This discussion is connected to the gimp-docs-list.gnome.org mailing list which is provided by the GIMP developers and not related to gimpusers.com.
This is a read-only list on gimpusers.com so this discussion thread is read-only, too.

How about a shared TODO list ?
Hi,
I think it would be better for us to have a shared TODO list for completing and keeping updated the GIMP documentation. Here are known issues:
[Concepts] * "Classic GIMP.org" sub-menu and its subsidiary items are removed from "File > Create" menu as well as "Misc." sub-menu. * "Dynamic Keyboard Shortcuts" toggle is removed.
[Tools, Tool options] * Add a page for Cage transformation tool. * Add description for Brush size, Aspect, and Angle sliders. * Add description for Smooth stroke option.
[Dialogs] * "Instant update" switch of Histogram dialog is removed. * Add a page for Brush Dynamics.
[Filters]
* "Apply Lens" (apply_lens.xml) is moved from "Light and
Shadow" to "Distort".
* "Glass Tile" (glasstile.xml) is moved from "Light and Shadow"
to "Artistic".
* At ImageMap filter, "Open recent" command does not exist.
At http://wiki.gimp.org/, are there any pages for the documentation team? I will read them first if they exist.

RyōTa is right, we need a wiki and need it badly.
- We used to have a space for describe how to build a gimp help compilation environment in various platform.
- We need some sort of (simple!) way to organize our work, IMHO a simple table could go with:
problem | who work on it | time (planned)
bye

What's the problem with wiki.gimp.org? Need accounts?

I appreciate that idea and if it helps improving the work, why not? Is
https://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject insufficient for this?
The only doc related thing in the wiki I can currently think of are the
Users:Tips page and that the namespace 'Users' is reserved for user
guides and the like.
Kind regards,
Sven

Yes please. BTW found an error on 1st page:
Whose is it?
This wiki is currently maintained by some GIMP developers, so if you have any comments, feel free to contact LightningIsMyName or Alexia_Death via the the GIMP IRC (irc://irc.gimp.org#gimp)
^error
the URI is wrong, it will never work, see:
http://ftp.ics.uci.edu/pub/ietf/uri/draft-mirashi-url-irc-01.txt
An irc URL takes the form:
irc:[ //[ [:] ]/[] [,needpass] ]
So it should be:

I agree. Almost management knowledge of documents in Docbook or Mallard are common in gnome projects and should go to live.gnome.org, but to store project specific notes and logs of GIMP Documentation Team, wiki.gimp.org must be suitable.
Several months ago before October of the last year, I sent a mail to this list that suggests to add a page about directory location and usage in most popular platforms. Though it was not responded and unfortunately all letters including my mail are not stored in the archive of the current mailing-list server, I do still not disappointed because someone possibly might remembered it and has ideas about it. Like a collaboration chart as you illustrated, if we have conclusion sheet of discussion at ML, planning table, or priority ordered list, it will be also distinct what is going or rejected about such drafted proposals.
cheers
