Portuguese translation

Hello GIMP Users!

What a nice project. Love Open Source!

I just started exploring Linux and GNU softwares. And i can only see growing and growing, its made for the community by its people, equal to equal. No ending for that.

I want to help translating to Brazilian portuguese, my native language as i live and born in São Paulo.

Anyone knows if there is any ongoing translation for portuguese? For the program itself and its documentation.

Hi Pedro --

I am the maintainer of the translation of GIMP - the program,

and just as of a few months ago, a small team started working on teh translation of the manual -
I am CCing WIller on this message, as he is doing the work and knows better the other collaborators.

Portuguese translation

Hello Pedro,

actually there are several Gnome projects ( http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/pt_BR/), including the Gimp Manual ( http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/pt_BR/gnome-gimp/doc/) we are translating.

Feel comfortable in helping us, we'd be happy.

Register on the site, choose an item for translation and book.
