Question about using "GIMP" in a domain name

Hello, I am interested in creating a website for GIMP tutorials, scripts, community, etc.

Is it ok to use the word "gimp" in the actual domain name or is this against policy to use a company/product name?

I can be reached from either this email or from racasavant@gmail.com

Thank you,

Rob

A policy that prohibits promotion of free software is suicidal for that free software.
In the name of Wilber, proceed :)

Lots of others do - but please don't make it something like "official-gimp-help.com" that might confuse people.

It should be fine as long as the web site doesn't try to make it appear to be an official GIMP project site.

Tool options- new vision

As you may know Marinus, Peter and I are looking at the design of the tool options.

Today we came up with a vision to get us started.

Take a look - all comments, suggestions, questions, welcome.

Cheers,
