GEGL porting matrix

Hi folks,

I've just created http://wiki.gimp.org/index.php/Hacking:Porting_filters_to_GEGL and filled it with initial data to help us tracking progress of the porting GIMP stuff to GEGL.

Naturally, I can keep it updated, but I'd rather see contributors doing it themselves :) If you are missing a GIMP account, please ask Alexia or Barak for one.

Is OpenRaster really the only file handler that needs porting to GEGL? Every other format is covered?

I'll assist anyone interested in working on getting OpenRaster support into GEGL.

For applications like GIMP and MyPaint with "full" OpenRaster support it will probably make sense to keep the existing ORA implementations though, as they want to integrate it with their document model (which is built on top of GEGL).

Of course not :) Have some more, on the house :)

I could add some more.

Great, thanks for putting together the initial document. If there are any pieces of code we know that we do not especially want to port, it could be useful to put them in a table too with a short comment/explanation.

It should imo all the one table, with remarks whether we want to port, or drop, and with porting status.
