Java binding to GEGL

Hi,

reading the language bindings list at gegl.org I was surprised not to see Java. Are there Java bindings planned? Otherwise why not? Could this also be a topic for GSoC?

We don't plan entirely optional features. We either do them or not.

Could this also be a topic for GSoC?

This year? Probably no. Next year? Why not?

I am not. Java isn't really popular amongst Gtk developers.

Are there Java bindings planned? Otherwise why not? Could this also be a topic for GSoC?

You could also write them and submit a patch.
