Cybersquatting website with Gimp

Hello

I think I found Gimp to be used for Cybersquatting and adware/virus spread when at one social network on a page they have for "Complete offers and earn Gold" I found this:

Gimp - Edit and Retouch images for FREE!

Edit and retouch your photos with this simple to use software.

No purchase required to receive Gold within 5-30 minutes. Gold awarded after successful download & install. »

This offer forward the user to the URL: *
http://www.dleasy.net/gimp/?ref=234628&guid=476eb30e-661d-4192-9d75-beeb112f282d *
supposedly for download the Gimp, but when the download started my antivirus detected *Adware: Win32/Hotbar* ---
FILES:
GimpSetup.exe
GimpSetup.exe->(UPX)
Temp\Z+efG15X.exe.part->(UPX)
---

https://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Glossary.aspx#cybersquatting ---

I already sent a Support Ticket to the developers of the respective social network, but as the link is from an outer domain of that social network I'm contacting you because it can be a major concern to Gimp community and possibly for you to make some investigation about this issue. This will probably to damage Gimp's reputation and also spread virus.

I didn't found any other way for contact you beyond IRC but I don't use IRC, so I will be grateful to know that this message was read.

Regards.

I have no idea what exactly dleasy.net is - I never use such sites when searching for downloads - but I noticed that they seem to have no contact info whatsoever (and http://www.dleasy.net/ is a 404).

So is this whole site involved in the adware spread, or has someone just uploaded this file there?
