Mental Models for GIMP

Hello *,

I was reading about the MMG user research project for GIMP on http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Mental_Models_for_GIMP. Is there anything going on there or is it a resting side-project at the moment?

Mental Models for GIMP

Hi,

it's a resting side-project at the moment, I'm afraid. I've changed jobs and am working full-time now, so I don't have much time to do something for it. My boss runs www.openusability.org, so the idea is to get further support from there.
I'll talk to him about that and will keep you informed. If you're interested in contributing, please also let me know ;-)

Best

Hi Tobi,

I saw on

http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Interview_Partners

that you already carried out some interviews. But on

http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Usability

I found no summary as you mentioned it here

http://www.gimpusers.com/forums/gimp-developer/13685-usability-for-gimp- executive-summary-project-description

But I found that one here:

http://www.davidrevoy.com/index.php?article90/mental-models-for-gimp- interview-debriefing

I had no time going through it but I'm very interested in your findings. Also I'll take a look at the book from where your project title is derived.
