Forget about it :-) If I mess up a simple comment, will you have a git server after I try those commands. I'll be more careful next, I also changed my user name, so _that_ mistake won't happen.

Are you sure that this works on a pushed commit? All I can see in this instruction is that you work on your local checkout, without having pushed your commits.
