There are no longer brush tool artefacts on the canvas, which is very good. Unfortunately, and maybe this is because of the repair, the brush tools are now very slow.

On a computer with an Intel Core i5 processor and with a small image, say 640x480, the problem is not visible. With a large image, say 2500x4000, using the brush tools is really cumbersome. On a computer with a simple Pentium, the brush tools are almost unusable, even on a small image. This seems to be independent of the brush used.

Hi Oliver

This is known, the bug report for it is:

Bug 631766 - Bad performance when moving brush outline on canvas https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=631766

Olivier, please, this is ongoing development. And yes, we are using the application that we are developing. And yes, we notice such problems. There is really no need to tell us about each and every problem you encounter with current git. In particular not if there's already a bug-report on it.
