drawing with even number of pixels

Hello,

I could not find a way to convince a drawing-tool (pen or brush) to use even number of pixels.
Scaling always yielded to odd number of pixels.... 1,3,5,...

So I could not draw a line with two pixels width, which I would like to have.

Will that be possible somehow?

I see no reason, why the number of pixels must be odd.

For me this looks as either buggy or a design flaw. Any ideas on that?

(Or do I just have to convince Gimp somehow, and don't know the method?)

Ciao, Oliver
