Edit -> Fade

I just discovered this new entry in the Edit menu, as well as the three new fading modes with "erase" in their name. It's seem interesting, but is there somewhere explanations about the purpose and working of this feature?

Hello Olivier,

you can find more information about this in the Gimp help: http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/gimp-edit-fade.html

Regards, Tobias

Shame on me! I did not discover this menu entry until now! However, the GIMP help is rather terse, and tells nothing about the Color Erase, Erase, and Anti Erase blending modes.
