I hava a dream:if GIMP can do WebService

If GIMP can do WebService ,
In the internet.
It can supply service to the enduser,the other program , it also can support the B/S program. It will be widely used.

It is a rather simple task to get the basic GIMP functionality - i.e. everything the gimp class offers - to work with Python's SimpleXMLRPCServer.

See http://registry.gimp.org/node/10 for a very basic example. In order to become useful, many convenience functions will have to be added.

I don't need Gimp for a Web-Service, but in this way, maybe one could do a different kind of Gimp-Scripting... :)
