Compile Gimp under Windows

Hello,

I'm trying to compile Gimp 2.6.7 under Windows. I've followed the tutorial on http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/topic/Compiling-Gimp-2-3-x-For-Windows-8606-1.html . Yet, it was a tutorial for a former version and doesn't suit anymore the 2.6.7. Is there any tutorial I can find somewhere to compile Gimp 2.6.7 under Windows?

Thank you.

I dont know of one, but not that much is changed, you probably just need newer versions of >libraries. btw, distributed windows versions of gimp are usually cross compiled under linux.

Many thanks for your quick answer. So I'll try a bit more to gather newer versions of libraries, and if I don't overcome that, I'll compile under Linux for Windows target.
