Quicktorials

Hi there,

I need advice!
I'm working on a new system that can provide free software GUI applications (like GIMP, Inkscape, Scribus, ...) with video tutorials directly linked to the GUI. Short: you click on an unknown button - and a browser pops up and shows what it does (html5/ogg-theora). My question concerns the identifier that links the functional part of the application to the video:

How do you think such an ID should look like?

You can also have a look at http://wiki.quicktorials.org to see what ideas were raised so far,
or you can see the website in its early stage http://quicktorials.org. I would love to see a a standard that is easy to use by any project!

Greetings from Germany, Robert

Completely customizable (preferably by the application maintainers, too) within a dedicated namespace for each application. Aliases should be possible.

For GIMP, the help id that's used for the context help might be part of the ID.

HTH,
Michael
