Gimp 2.7.0 Text Tool Crashes (built using MinGW/windows)

Gimp 2.7.0 Text Tool Crashes (built using MinGW/windows)

Hello,

Has anybody tried the text tool in Gimp 2.7.0 on windows?

The program crashes with the following error:

Pango:ERROR:pangowin32.c:###:pango_win32_font_finalize: assertion failed: (win32font->fontmap != NULL)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run gimp-2.7.0   2. Create new image (Ctrl+N)
  3. Select Text Tool (T)
  4. Click on canvas

I can confirm that
With the previous 2.7 build for windows text tool work ok

I think that the right place to report this would be in the GIMP bugzilla. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/
and I can confirm this bug - I saw people complaining about it on youtube.

Hi,

The crash seems to be font related.

The default font (Sans) crashes. Courier does not.
