Stroke with Ink Tool

I am using the latest windows binary and have a problem stroking either paths or selections with the ink tool..

This used to work, afaik. Can someone confirm and I'll file a bug if so.

What version is that exactly ?

I tried to replicate with gimp-2.7.0-r28070-i686-setup.exe Stroking a selection with Paintbrush or Ink tool both work - as does stroking a path.
