pygegl make fails

Hi,

I'm trying to build the python bindings without much success. babl and gegl are successfully installed from svn, but I get the error below when making pygegl. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 w/ python 2.5 on a dell latitude d620. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Scott

Are you sure the python bindings are up to date with the API changes in trunk?

Personally, I have no idea :)

I did get them to compile when I just had the default Ubuntu installation of gegl, which I think was version 0.18. But none of the python examples were working for me, kept getting errors like 'function has no attribute x' for any argument passed into a gegl function, so I figured Ubuntu was just out of date and I installed direct from SVN.

Is there anywhere it says what version the python bindings are designed for? Or anyone know if/when they will be updated? I couldn't find any info, and last commit looks like it was in November
