making html

Hi,

I ran

make -f Makefile.GNU html-fr

and got

[XML] xml/fr/menus/file/open-location.xml po/fr/menus/file.po:1800: « msgid » and « msgstr » strings don't end both with « \n »
msgfmt: 1 fatal error found
-:1: parser error : Document is empty ^
-:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '?). There is no error in open-location.xml.
More, the html file for open-location is created normally! (html created after deleting the html/fr folder).
Do I must ignore this fatal error?

Julien

Don't know what this error message means, but did you check line 1800?

No, you should never ignore fatal errors.

Bye, Ulf

Thank you. Problem is resolved.
I was looking for a missing '\n'. It was an unwanted one at the end of the msgstr of 'translator credits"!
