Remove pot from SVN?

Hi,

I would like to remove the pot directory from the SVN repository. Since we can create pot files with "make pot" (or "make po", "make xml", etc.) we don't need these files to be under version control. Actually it's just a waste of time, bandwidth, and memory to keep them up-to-date.

Any objections? Roman?

Ulf

Not at all. It was totally not worth to add them actually ... Go ahead!

Before starting a work session, I think that "svn up for src/xml, pot, po" is more simple than "svn up (for src/xml)" + make pot + make po...

po files are not affected, and you will have to "make pot" only once for all pot files (or make a backup now!). Later you will "make pot" only for (typically few) changed src files, and it's done automatically with "make po", "make xml", or "make html".

Ok, then I will remove pot on Sunday.
