Officially supported build by Jernej Simončič. This installer includes 32 and 64-bit version of GIMP and also includes everything needed to run GIMP Python scripts.

Warning: this installer will automatically remove GIMP 2.6.

Somehow i got my tablet to work.
But i can't get useful settings with this curve thing.
So does anyone have good settings to share?

I got a Wacom tablet to work after about 3 hours of trying everything recommended in the forum thread on the topic. The driver that comes included on a CD is broken, you have to completely remove all the drivers from your computer using add/remove programs. Then you should go get the latest driver from the Wacom website and install that. The forum thread also had a config file for pressure sensitivity on the tablet.

my wacom bamboo works with 2.8 - although had to turn on the pressure sensitivity in the settings first

Gimp is not compatible with Wacom Bamboo :<
