Mailing list archive out of date

Hi there,
I just tried to figure out where to get Windows binaries for 1.3.>=19 and couldn't find any. So I tried to search the archives.

The archive is a) out of date (last message from July 26) b) not searchable (ht://dig error: "Unable to read configuration file")

Bye, Tino.

They aren't publically announced but the URL appeared here earlier (http://gimp.org/win32/gimp-head.zip).

Known problem (see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121086). We are basically waiting for Yosh to ask if someone has 128MB or 256MB modules of 72pin EDO RAM that he/she could spend in order to get the mail archive up and running again. Well, now I've asked it...

Hm. I've now settled with gimp-head-20030901... And it worked (after getting lots of other libraries)

Hm. I may have two 32 MB pieces lying around but I can't say whether they still work. :-( It's also probably not worth the effort.

Bye, Tino.

See Sven's post. Until the RAM issue is solved, try: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/
http://news.gmane.org/
http://www.mail-archive.com/

b) not searchable (ht://dig error: "Unable to read configuration file")

Probably related to "a", meanwhile try 'site:lists.xcf.berkeley.edu gimp term1 term2 ... termN' in Google.

There is another archive for the developer list here http://www.mail-archive.com/gimp-developer@lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/maillist.html

There is a windows gimp users list at yahoo and they also have a list archive there too and I know that Tor (aka tml) announced binaries of 1.3.20 for testing there last week.

Sincerely

... which doesn't help if the archive is out of date and you're looking for pretty actual stuff. :-(

Bye, Tino.

Links, anyone? ...head-20030901 might be recent enough though...

BTW: I can't use yahoo since you need cookies to view any message and I'm not allowed to use cookies here (apart from that, I don't see a reason, argh!).

Bye, Tino.
